The Czech Republic was visited by 71 percent more tourists in 2022 than in 2021 but it is still less than before the pandemic. A total of 7.3 million guests came from abroad. Hotels and all services are operating as normal and 2023 is expected to match or even surpass 2019 in the country's total visitor numbers.

The current situation in the Czech Republic can be described as normal. Of course, there are still cases of Covid, the war in Ukraine is having an effect on the life of the country, people are worried about the rise in energy prices and inflation. The same as elsewhere in Europe. However, tourism is coming back and we believe that Prague will soon be full of visitors again.
